Good reproduction, some beveling would help this out a lot though. 90ļ angles suck. Are you going to texture this? I think you should model the whole set, cd player, eq, tuner, speakers and all. That be sweet. Like mechs? I'm working on one right now. Check it out. Also I have some headphones that would look cool plugged into this. If you're interested let me know.
/me thinks somebody spent f**kin much time on this
well looks nice VERy nice
the true rulage of somebody can only be experienced by hitting a box thats inside his head while riding the wheelz of steel on the way to hell
( if somebody understands this :: plz note me cuZ i dont )
i'm gonna disagree with everyone who said 'lighwave' and ask: Cinema 4D? (don't shoot me if i'm wrong)
now on to the pic:
the modeling here is fantastic, i can only guess how much work you put into it .... there's just a couple of snags ... the edge of the open/close button seems pixalated, i guess the objects ran into each other there
the main buttons (FF, REW, PLAY etc) should have a side, and not only the front ... or the one closest to the viewer anyway
the big knob on the far side (i'm guessing it's a volume adjust) seems a bit askew ... and is too far out, i think
but basicly these are all just details that can easily be fixed ...
i can't wait to see a textured version
whts it called - matte finish or something stuff that is metal but not reflective?
anywho...this stuff is awesome!!!
the volume control to the right seems a bit distorted. then again it might be me who is.
if i were dead would you be better off
I wasn't going to say anything, I mean i like it, but, you caught my with the red shirt thing.
really unique, there's a lot of 3D shit that gets submitted, it's nice to see something different. (oh and you don't have to look at my stuff if you don't want to...i'm not very good).
