I'm loving this rendering style. I wish I could get my SolidWorks to do this...

Good reproduction, some beveling would help this out a lot though. 90ļ angles suck. Are you going to texture this? I think you should model the whole set, cd player, eq, tuner, speakers and all. That be sweet. Like mechs? I'm working on one right now. Check it out. Also I have some headphones that would look cool plugged into this. If you're interested let me know.

i'm gonna disagree with everyone who said 'lighwave' and ask: Cinema 4D? (don't shoot me if i'm wrong)

now on to the pic:
the modeling here is fantastic, i can only guess how much work you put into it .... there's just a couple of snags ... the edge of the open/close button seems pixalated, i guess the objects ran into each other there
the main buttons (FF, REW, PLAY etc) should have a side, and not only the front ... or the one closest to the viewer anyway
the big knob on the far side (i'm guessing it's a volume adjust) seems a bit askew ... and is too far out, i think
but basicly these are all just details that can easily be fixed ...
i can't wait to see a textured version

whts it called - matte finish or something stuff that is metal but not reflective?
anywho...this stuff is awesome!!!
the volume control to the right seems a bit distorted. then again it might be me who is.

I wasn't going to say anything, I mean i like it, but, you caught my with the red shirt thing. :D (Big Grin)

really unique, there's a lot of 3D shit that gets submitted, it's nice to see something different. (oh and you don't have to look at my stuff if you don't want to...i'm not very good). ;) (Wink)

Nice as hell, I suppose it turned out very nice! :) (Smile)
I might have a small perversion to electric models like this, but even if I didnít it still would be a great job.
Thank you.

A+

good detail. excellent shadows. with the exception of the few straight-edged 'angled curves' it looks very realistic. damned impressive.

ooh, very very nice.. i love when people screw around with radiosity. let me do an unpolite guess.. lightwave?

this must've cost you a few hours rendering, methinks. the detail's excellent - apart from a few curves that might use some smoothing.
